One Day Lake Manyara National Park
Following breakfast, our professional tour guide and driver will meet you for a brief safari briefing before embarking on an exciting journey westward to the mesmerizing Great Rift Valley and the Lake Manyara National Park. As we make our way, we'll pass through Mto Wa Mbu, an agricultural hub and vibrant fresh produce market town nestled adjacent to the Lake Manyara National Park entrance.
Mto Wa Mbu is a haven for souvenir hunters, teeming with enthusiastic souvenir vendors eager to share their wares. Our adventure then leads us to the Lake Manyara National Park, a wildlife sanctuary dramatically situated at the base of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment. The park boasts a diverse range of habitats that draw a remarkable array of animals. Among them are the densely populated African elephant herds, the renowned tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara, and vast flocks of flamingos attracted to the lake's algae.
Within the park, we'll relish a picnic lunch, fueling us for two thrilling game drives, one in the morning and another in the afternoon, with a particular quest to spot the tree-climbing lions. As the day draws to a close, we'll bid farewell to Lake Manyara and make our way back to Arusha, where our safari adventure concludes. You'll be escorted to your hotel, marking the end of our tour for the day.
