After breakfast you are met by our professional tour guide/driver, who will deliver a short safari info briefing, after which we travel east to the Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania's dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. We will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and do two exciting morning and afternoon game drives, along the Tarangire River. Late afternoon we depart for Mto wa mbu a small town which is a souvenir hunters paradise, harboring thousands souvenir salesmen - ready to pounce at your slightest invitation located near Manyara National park where we will end our first day safari adventure. Dinner and overnight will be as per standard and type of accommodation option requested

Day 2: Mto wa mbu - Lake Manyara
After breakfast you will be get a short Safari info about this day from your guide/driver, after which we travel for 15 minutes to the Great Rift Valley and the Lake Manyara National Park. The Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania's most dramatically located African wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment. The park's varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa's densely populated African elephants herds, Lake Manyara's famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake. We will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and do two exciting morning and afternoon game drives, in search of the tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight will be as per standard and type of accommodation option requested

Day 3 Mto wa Mbu - Serengeti Plains
After breakfastwe head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park. Dinner and overnight will be as per standard and type of accommodation option requested

Day 4 - Serengeti Plains
Early in the morning leave the campsite for a short game drive and to see the beautiful scenery provided by the sunrise from a distance in the Serengeti plains, after this you will return to the Lodge for breakfast. After breakfast we will start game viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible Lion, Thomson gazelle, Topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. In the afternoon we will head to a Public Campsite for a hot lunch and a one hour rest. After this we will follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract a number of lion and some formidably large cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. This makes the kopjes particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry seasons - including lions, which like to lie in wait for animals coming to drink!. Dinner and overnight will be as per standard and type of accommodation option requested

Day 5 Serengeti Plains and Hot Air Balloon
This beautiful day will offer you an ideal opportunity to do an optional but unforgettable Hot Air Balloon flight, followed by a delightful champagne breakfast (available at a supplementary cost, but can be booked in advance). After breakfast we head to the south-eastern side of the park, visiting the Barafu Kopjes and the Ngare Nanyuki River area, for our morning and afternoon game drives. Apart from the lion prides you find in the area, the Barafu Kopjes is the place to visit for possible cheetah sightings. The Ngare Nanyuki River area is also well known for being packed with game. Dinner and overnight will be as per standard and type of accommodation option requested

Day 6 Serengeti Plains – Lake Ndutu Area
Today is our last day in the Serengeti National Park. We will once again visit some kopjes on our way out of the park and will do a morning game drive in the Simba Kopjes area. The kopjes are named after the lions, which frequently use these kopjes to just lie and bath in the sun. You may also see baboon, giraffe and some interesting birds in this area. From here we will head to Lake Ndutu, which is alkaline, like most of the other Rift lakes, however still drinkable and used by a wide array of local wildlife. We will do an afternoon game drive in the lake area, which offers quite a change from the vast open plains of the Serengeti. The area is usually heavy populated with elephant and birds as well as resident plains game. Dinner and overnight will be as per standard and type of accommodation option requested

Day 7 Lake Ndutu – Ngorongoro Crater
We depart after breakfast from Lake Ndutu for a morning game drive in the Naabi Hill area before we head towards the Ngorongoro Crater via the famed Olduvai Gorge , also known as "the cradle of mankind''. The Gorge lies on the site of an ancient lake, covered by thick layers of volcanic ash, which carefully preserved the world's earliest records of mankind and which was unearthed by the dedicated Leakey family. The museum displays some of these fascinating discoveries and remarkable finds. From here we head for the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater , one of the most densely crowded game areas in the world, which is home to an estimated 30,000 animals, we arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight will be as per standard and type of accommodation option requested

Day 8 Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast we depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area while also doing a game viewing on the way. We arrive in time for lunch, after lunch we will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day's safari tour. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. Dinner and overnight will be as per standard and type of accommodation option requested

Day 9 Arusha City – Arusha National Park (Walking Safari and Game drive)
After breakfast you are met by our professional tour guide/driver, who will deliver a short safari info briefing, after which we travel east to the Arusha National Park. This small but beautiful Tanzanian National Park is the closest national park to both the famous Arusha "safari town" (30 km), thus making it ideal for 1-day safaris or tours. You will enjoy a half-day guided walking safari through the forest to the waterfall and the natural beauty of the hills, mountains and river beds begging to be explored. Expect to see endless acres of forest, welcoming black and white Colobus monkeys, zebras, buffalos and a lot of antelopes. You will also have a chance to observe more than 400 bird species including Crowned Eagle, Lanner Falcon and Levaillants Cuckoo. After lunch on the beautiful shores of Lake Momella, you will be taken on a game drive through the National park, where you will enjoy the flora and fauna. The animal life in the park is abundant, but it is also one of the most beautiful and topographically varied parks in Tanzania. The park's three most significant features include the rugged Mount Meru (Tanzania's second highest peak at 4566m), the notably different colored Momella Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater, which was formed about fifteen million years ago! We will do an exciting afternoon and evening game drive, visiting both the Momella Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater. Wildlife which could be seen includes Cape buffaloes, elephants, hippos, giraffe, warthogs, antelopes, zebras, blue monkeys and sometimes a rare leopard or hyena. Late afternoon we depart for Arusha where we will end our safari adventure for that day.
