ARRIVAL
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), a warm welcome awaits as you meet with a dedicated Mangi Adventures representative. You will then be smoothly transferred to your pre-arranged hotel, carefully selected for your comfort. The hotel offers all the necessary amenities, including comfortable rooms, hot water, a friendly and attentive staff, a refreshing swimming pool, and convenient internet access.

DAY 1 - ARUSHA - SERENGETI
In the early morning, our journey commences with a direct drive from Arusha to the magnificent Serengeti National Park. As we make our way, we'll pass through Mto wa Mbu, a charming town celebrated as a haven for souvenir enthusiasts, with countless vendors eager to showcase their offerings. This town is located in close proximity to the Manyara National Park.
Our route also takes us through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where we'll embark on a game drive, immersing ourselves in the natural beauty of the landscape. By late afternoon, we will reach the Serengeti National Park, arriving just in time to witness the breathtaking scenery as the sun sets along the horizon.
For dinner and an overnight stay, we will be situated in the Seronera area, right in the heart of the Serengeti. The specific standard and type of accommodation will align with your chosen option, ensuring a comfortable and memorable experience in this captivating wilderness.
Our route also takes us through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where we'll embark on a game drive, immersing ourselves in the natural beauty of the landscape. DAY 3: SERENGETI FULL DAY
Early in the morning, we'll embark on a journey from our accommodation site for a brief game drive, offering a remarkable opportunity to witness the sunrise painting the Serengeti plains with its resplendent colors. Following this awe-inspiring experience, we'll return to the Seronera area for a fulfilling breakfast.
Our adventure continues with a game viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit. This circuit meanders through the plains south of the Seronera River, presenting excellent prospects for encountering magnificent wildlife such as lions, Thomson's gazelles, topis, ostriches, and even cheetahs.
In the afternoon, you have an option to make our way back to the accommodation for a satisfying hot lunch and a one-hour respite, allowing you to recharge for the next part of our journey or oyu have an option of carrying your lunch on hampers and enjoy a bush lunch, this option also provides an opportunity to drive further and enjoy longer gamedrives.
Later in the day, we'll follow the Kopjes Circuit, which takes us on an anti-clockwise route around the Maasai Kopjes. These geological formations often serve as a magnet for wildlife, including lions that strategically position themselves for the opportunity to pounce on animals coming to drink during the dry seasons. This circuit is particularly rewarding for wildlife sightings.
As day transforms into night, we will dine and find rest in the Seronera area, ensuring you are rejuvenated for another day of exploration in this captivating region.
OPTIONAL BALLOON SAFARI
Embark on what is often described as the most breathtaking balloon flight in the world, delivering the ultimate safari experience. At 5:00 am, Serengeti Balloon Safaris will pick you up from your Serengeti accommodation, transporting you to the launch site in a reliable Land Rover or Land Cruiser. Upon arrival, you will meet your experienced pilot, receive a comprehensive briefing, and witness the mesmerizing inflation of your balloon.
As the dawn breaks, we ascend into the sky, mirroring the sun's ascent, and drifting in the direction guided by the morning's gentle winds. Your skilled pilot possesses precise control over the balloon's altitude, allowing for a variety of perspectives and exceptional photographic opportunities of the wildlife below. Early in the morning after breakfast you will start your drive back to Arusha while doing a game drive along the way. You will reach the Ngorongoro Conservation area in time for lunch, you will have lunch at a picnic point and after this you will travel back to Arusha where we will end our African safari adventure.
