day 1: arusha - TaraNgirE
Your journey begins with a pick-up in Arusha, followed by a transfer to the Tarangire National Park. After a satisfying breakfast, you will be welcomed by our knowledgeable tour guide and driver. They will provide a brief but informative safari overview. From there, we venture eastward, heading to the Tarangire National Park.
This captivating park traces the course of the Tarangire River and predominantly features low-lying hills on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Its natural landscape is characterized by Acacia woodlands and towering African Baobab trees, complemented by expansive swamp areas in the southern region. These elements, particularly the river and swamps, serve as a magnet for wildlife during Tanzania's dry season.
The Tarangire National Park is renowned for its vast elephant herds, considered some of the largest in Africa. Our day unfolds with a delightful picnic lunch within the park, followed by two thrilling game drives, one in the morning and another in the afternoon, tracing the path along the Tarangire River.
As the late afternoon sets in, we bid farewell to Tarangire and head to Mto wa mbu, a quaint town known as a souvenir hunter's paradise. Here, you'll encounter a multitude of souvenir vendors eagerly awaiting your visit. Mto wa Mbu is located near Manyara National Park, where we conclude our first day of safari adventure. You'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a pre arranged accommodation.

DAY 2: Karatu - NgoroNGORO CRATER - ARUSHA
After an early breakfast, we depart from the Lodge in the morning. Our destination is the Ngorongoro viewpoint area, offering the perfect vantage point to witness the sunrise gracefully illuminating the Ngorongoro Crater from a distance. Here, you'll receive insightful information about the crater, enhancing your understanding of its natural wonders.
The true highlight of the day awaits as we begin our descent, approximately 600 meters, into the crater for your last day of safari. The Ngorongoro National Park thrives year-round, thanks to a consistent water supply and abundant fodder. It hosts a diverse array of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, eland, warthogs, hippos, and majestic African elephants. Yet, one of the most compelling features of this picturesque national park is its dense predator population, featuring lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, occasionally requiring a trained eye to spot.
Our journey within the crater will take us to Lake Magadi, a significant but shallow alkaline lake situated in the southwestern corner, serving as a key feature of the crater. Here, you can anticipate the sight of a considerable number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds. We'll pause to relish a delightful picnic lunch at a designated site near the lake.
Following this memorable experience, we will ascend from the crater, commencing our final drive to Arusha, where our adventure concludes. Your incredible journey will culminate in Arusha at your pre booked lodge, marking the end of this remarkable safari.
